Field Marketing Manager (Santa Monica)

You will have the opportunity to bring to market the company’s next generation mobile payments and ordering technology to a wide range of hospitality venues including: bars, hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, etc.  Once the Tray system is installed in a venue, patrons who have the Tray app on their Android or iPhone can: order and pay for drinks/food; chat with other patrons; gift drinks to other customers (even at other venues); and redeem loyalty rewards and promotions.     

Venues love Tray because it drives revenue and seamlessly integrates with their existing operations. Users love Tray because it eliminates waiting to order and pay - it’s like Uber for drinks.  

What we're looking for

After successfully piloting our technology in Santa Monica, CA, we're expanding in Los Angeles, NYC and DC and are looking for talented, ambitious individuals who thrive in a fast-paced startup environment to help us expand.  As a regional Account Executive, you will partner with us to introduce our easy to integrate mobile payments and social ordering technology to a wide range of venues including: bars, hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, etc.

The Field Marketing Manager will partner with venues where Tray is installed to drive consumer awareness and customer acquisition.  On a day-to-day basis, activities and responsibilities include:

  • Working with venues to develop customized marketing / user acquisition plans and timelines

  • Evolving existing marketing materials to optimize new user enrollment and repeat use

  • Networking to maintain relationships with venue decision-makers and staff

  • Gaining feedback from users and venue staff

  • Supporting Tray app user acquisition efforts by attending launch events, promotional activities, and new user drives

  • Partnering with installation tech team to prepare logistics and train venue staff

  • Participating in regular training and team update calls

  • Bachelor degree from a reputable university

Passion for the hospitality industry and willingness to work evenings and weekends when necessary are nice to have as is willingness to grow with the company and move at a fast pace.
